This First Thanksgiving 2008

I sat at the table  in Mama's place,

It was so very hard for us all to not see her smiling loving face,

Our hearts were heavy laden,  We tried not to let it show,

But you couldn't see the twinkle in our eyes , They were dim and dark, They just didn't glow!

Mama, We just weren't ever ready to let you go!

Oh, how we know that you are safe with Jesus, Healthy and whole,

I am sure your working diligently, Daily setting goals,

So Mama while you fly amongst the Angels up so high,

Just know that when you left us, it wasn't good-bye,

You just went before us to be with Jesus and prepare a spot for us,

For the big family reunion to come that is a Heavenly must!!!

I love you my PRECIOUS ANGEL,

Yes this First Thanksgiving, I wished we weren't apart!!!

But just remember My Precious Angel, I hold you deep inside my Heart!
